by seth on Mar.12, 2009, under Security
Just wanted to let you all know that I will be a guest on the PaulDotcom Security Weekly podcast tonight. I will be leading a technical segment on w3af, which is a very nifty free/open source tool for web application scanning/exploitation. Should be loads of fun!
The live stream should go up around 1845 EDT with the show starting around 1900EDT. Further details can be found here: http://pauldotcom.com/security-weekly/
Hope to see you there.

Hi!, I’m the w3af project leader, and I wanted to thank you for promoting the project. I haven’t listened to the show yet, but I will as soon as the direct download is ready.
Once again, thanks!

Thanks for the comment, and, more importantly, w3af, Andres. I am eagerly awaiting the 1.0 Gold release. I plan to do some work/write ups on Virtual Daemon and w3afAgent in the future. Perhaps I will get a chance to give a detailed tech segment on those in the future.
